In Elm, how do I change my default editor?
Note: Elm is not available on any UITS systems.
To change the default editor in Elm, follow the steps below:
- In Elm, type
oto get to theOptionsmenu.
- Use the
E)ditor (primary)andV)isual editorsoptions to choose your preferred editor, for example/usr/local/bin/pico, or/usr/local/bin/emacs, or/usr/ucb/vi.
- Press
>to save the changes.
- To verify that your changes were made, exit and re-enter Elm.
