At IU, how can my information be removed from the IU Address Book?
If you are an Indiana University student, you can choose to limit the information displayed about you in the IU Address Book. You can hide your academic information, email address, phone number, postal address, and user-supplied information (home page URL and comments); however, your name, IU campus, and unique profile ID will continue to be displayed. See At IU, how do I change information displayed in the online IU Address Book and the Global Address List?
Students, faculty, or staff can ask for full and permanent removal
from the IU Address Book. If you are a student, contact the Office of
the Registrar at your campus (see How do I contact the Office of the Registrar at each IU campus?). If you are
faculty or staff, send an email request to the UITS account
administrators via email at
valid@indiana.edu . Student employees should
contact the Registrar as above, which will more thoroughly protect
your student information.
