In my web browser, how can I make sure the most recent version of a page is loaded?

If you view a particular page often, your web browser may not consistently deliver the newest version of that page. Most browsers keep copies of pages you visit in the cache on your hard drive so that these pages load quickly. If you want to make sure that the page you are viewing is current, you can reload or refresh the browser. When you do this, the browser accesses the page from the server rather than from your cache.

Refreshing or reloading pages

Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari have buttons on their toolbars that allow you to update from the server the page you are viewing. For Firefox, click Reload current page. For Internet Explorer, click Refresh. For Safari, click Reload.
