Introduction
The Indiana University Bloomington Libraries offer a wide range of services for both students and faculty conducting library research; see the IUB Libraries' list of All Services.
Students, faculty, and staff at all IU campuses have access to IUCAT (the IU Libraries' catalog) and many other databases in a wide variety of subject areas. People not affiliated with IU may not have access to all electronic resources in the instructional links listed below.
In addition to the following resources, you can ask for individual help from librarians in person at the library reference desks or remotely via Ask a Librarian.

- Access Instructional Handouts on basic topics such as database searching, citing electronic sources, and evaluating web resources.
Course-specific resources

Workshops
- Each fall semester, library staff hold drop-in workshops in the Information Commons with topics ranging from using Google to starting a research paper. View the schedule of workshops.
Help for faculty, instructors, and graduate students

- The Reference Department offers free classes for faculty and graduate
students on how to use online journals and databases and locate
