To invoke the self-paced tutorial, at the Unix prompt, enter:

  M-x tutorial

M-x, or "Meta-x", is usually typed by pressing the Esc key and then pressing x. For more help with Emacs keystroke conventions, see How keystrokes are denoted in Emacs

To enter the Emacs help system, press C-h.
