In Unix, how can I see a brief summary of my mail?
Note: Mail service is not available on any of the UITS central Unix systems at Indiana University.
You can list your mail messages on a Unix computer,
one per line, without entering a mail program (like Berkeley
mail) by using the from command.
To use this command, at the Unix prompt, enter:
The from command produces output like this:
As you can see, the address is followed by the date and time.
