At IU, is there a cost to provide information on the university web server?

Accounts on the university web server are allocated 1GB of disk space at no charge for university organizations, departments, and faculty. Charges are determined by calculating a running average of disk space daily for each user. At the end of the fiscal year, if your average exceeds 1GB, you will be charged $2 for every 1GB over the 1GB limit. Be aware that there are no quotas; do not assume your account is under 1GB simply because you are still able to upload files.

Auxiliary services are charged $250 per year for a 1GB account. Additional 1GB blocks are available at the $2 yearly rate.
