Is it possible to cancel an email message I have just sent?

In almost all circumstances, you cannot cancel an email message once you have sent it.

However, in certain restricted circumstances, when you use Outlook to send mail to someone who receives email on the same Exchange server as yourself, you can recall an email message after you have sent it. See In Microsoft Outlook, how can I recall, replace, or resend a message?
