In Mac OS X, how can I concatenate a multi-part text file?

The shareware program Split&Concat is specifically designed to concatenate multi-part text files. You can also use the Unix cat command, available from the Terminal, to concatenate files. For more, see In Unix, how do I combine several text files into a single file?
