In Mac OS and Mac OS X, how can I concatenate a multi-part text file?

Note: If you have Mac OS X, you may use the Unix cat command, which is available from the Terminal, to concatenate files. For information, see In Unix, how do I combine several text files into a single file?

A couple of different Mac OS and Mac OS X shareware programs are made specifically to concatenate multi-part text files. For Mac OS X, you can use Split&Concat, which is available from Loek Jehee's web site.

For older versions of the Mac operating system, ChunkJoiner is available. You can download it from Fabrizio Oddone's web site.
