On my LISTSERV list, can I add another LISTSERV list as a subscriber?
Subscribers to a LISTSERV list can include other LISTSERV lists. However, subscribers who are on both lists will receive duplicate postings.
Note: Do not subscribe another list to a moderated list.
The process for adding a LISTSERV list as a subscriber to another LISTSERV list is the same as the process for adding an individual subscriber. Simply enter the LISTSERV list's email address as the subscriber. For more detailed instructions, see On my LISTSERV list, how do I add subscribers?
You can also use LISTSERV to define a superlist, i.e., a list that includes all the subscribers in a set of sublists. Only the maintainer of the LISTSERV software can create a superlist. In a mailing to a superlist, duplicates will be suppressed.
