What is the LSP database?

Note: To learn the name of your department's LSP, call the UITS Support Center at 812-855-6789 (Bloomington) or 317-274-4357 (Indianapolis).

The UITS local support provider (LSP) database allows departmental support providers to enter information about their departments into a Microsoft SQL database by filling out a series of web forms.

UITS uses the information available in this database to better allocate limited resources to departments through their support providers. A database listing is required for all LSPs to gain access to certain UITS services and resources. LSPs, their managers, and the fiscal approvers may log into https://lsps.iu.edu/lspdb/ to find out more information about their role in the database. An LSP who is not yet registered should contact his or her manager or direct report.
