In Pine, how can I retrieve a message I was writing when I got disconnected?

Note: Pine is not available on any central UITS systems. UITS does not support the use of Pine at Indiana University.

If you are disconnected while writing a message (e.g., you get a "no carrier" message from your modem), Pine will save your work in your mail folder collection called "postponed-msgs". The next time you log into your Pine account, you will see a message that says "Use compose command to continue interrupted message". Press  c  for Compose Message. At the prompt, to continue your interrupted message, press  y .

It may take a few minutes for this file to be created. If you log in and do not find this file, you might try logging out and waiting a few minutes before logging in again.
