At IUB, how does the UITS PPP server assign IP addresses?
At Indiana University Bloomington, the PPP dial-in lines (812-856-520X) use the native PPP mechanism to assign an appropriate IP address for your computer whenever you dial into the UITS PPP server. This is a dynamic process, and your IP number will likely change each time you connect.
