In Maple, how do I save and print graphics from a character-based terminal?
To save Maple graphics, at the Maple prompt, enter the following
(replacing filename with the name of your file):
Once you issue this interface command, a plotting command writes the
output to a file in your current working directory, instead of
displaying it. You can print it from within your Maple session by
issuing the following Unix print command (again replacing
filename with the name of your file):
Replace myprinter with the name of a
PostScript-compatible printer to which you have access. (Most of the
Student Technology Centers have such printers.)
Note: There is no semicolon at the end of this
command, and the ! (exclamation point) causes
it to be sent to the operating system for processing. You can also
wait until you exit Maple and issue the same command at the Unix
system prompt, without the exclamation point.
Once you are finished printing, you can resume displaying graphics normally with the command:
