How do I save and print a Maple graphic from an X Window System session?
Using Maple in an X Window System session, to save or print a plot:
- Create the plot.
- Click the plot. In the menubar, the Plot selection will change
from gray to black.
- From the
Plotmenu, selectExport, and then select a file format such as Postscript, GIF, or JPEG.
- In the dialog box that appears, change the default filename, if
desired.
- After saving the file, open another window and print the file
normally, for example:
lpr -P printername plotoutfile.ps
Replace
printernamewith the name of your printer, andplotoutfile.pswith the name you gave your file.
