Login is for authorized groups (e.g., UITS, OVPIT, and TCC) that need access to specialized Knowledge Base documents. Otherwise, simply use the Knowledge Base without logging in.

How do I find information about the images and documents of a web page?

Most web browsers have a built-in feature to show more information about the content of a web page that is being viewed. Depending on the browser, this information may also be coupled with more advanced developer-related tools.

Note: Not all browsers provide the same amount of page information.

Firefox

Open the Tools menu, and then click Page Info.

Internet Explorer

Press the Alt key. Open the Tools menu, and then click F12 Developer Tools.

Safari

  1. In Windows, click the settings gear in the top-right corner of the program, and then open Preferences... . In Mac OS X, from the File menu, select Preferences... .

  2. In the top of the window that opens, click Advanced.

  3. Check the box that says Show Develop menu in menu bar, and then close the settings window.

  4. Click the page icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

  5. From the Develop menu, open Show Web Inspector.

Google Chrome

  1. Click the settings wrench (

    ) in the top-right corner of the program.

  2. Open the Tools menu.

  3. Open Developer Tools.

Opera

  1. Press the Alt key, and then open the Page menu.

  2. Open Developer Tools.

  3. Open Page Info.
