ARCHIVED: In Outlook Express or Entourage, how do I move or save multiple messages?

In Outlook Express or Entourage, to move or save several items or messages at the same time:

  1. Click one of the items you want to save or move.

  2. While holding down the Ctrl key (the Command key in Mac OS X), click the other items or messages you want to save or move. This will highlight all the messages you want. Alternatively, to select a contiguous series of messages, hold down the Shift key and click the message at the other end of the range.

  3. Release any key you are holding. Now you can move the whole highlighted group to the folder of your choice by clicking and dragging any one of the highlighted messages.
