In Eudora, how do I display and send the full headers of an email message?
Note: At IU you are required to use Eudora 5.1 and later. Earlier releases of Eudora do not support Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), while versions prior to 4.3 do not support IMAP.
To display full headers when reading a message in
Eudora, click the button marked BLAH BLAH BLAH.
(Yes, that is the name of the button!)
To insert the headers into an email message, follow the directions below:
- Select all the headers by clicking and dragging the cursor from
the top left corner to the bottom right corner of the header text.
- Press
Ctrl-cin Windows orCmd-cin Mac OS or Mac OS X to copy the headers to the Clipboard.
- Create a new email message. Click in the main text window for the
new message, and press
Ctrl-vin Windows orCmd-vin Mac OS or Mac OS X to paste the headers.
