In Windows, in my web browser, how do I remove the headers and footers from the pages I'm printing?

Internet Explorer

  1. From the File menu, select Page Setup... .

  2. In Internet Explorer 8 and higher, in the "Headers and Footers" section, set all drop-down menus to Empty.

    In Internet Explorer 7, under "Header", remove &w&bPage &p of &P ; under "Footer", remove &u&b&d .

  3. Click OK.

Firefox 3.0

  1. From the File menu, select Page Setup... .

  2. Select the Margins & Header/Footer tab.

  3. In each of the drop-down menus under "Headers & Footers", select --blank-- .

  4. Click OK.
