At IU, how do I schedule a special request workshop with IT Training & Education?

At Indiana University, special request workshops are available for most UITS IT Training & Education STEPS workshops.

  • Faculty and assistant instructors can request workshops on most STEPS workshop topics for groups of 10 to 20, scheduled during your regular class time. Student groups can request workshops as well. You should give a minimum of three weeks notice.

  • If you have a large number of students, IT Training & Education can offer the workshop to multiple groups if teaching resources are available, or present the material in a lecture rather than in hands-on format.

  • UITS IT Training & Education instructors can provide workshops for your group or department at their teaching sites. Rates are listed on the STEPS Workshop Request Form. If you want UITS to teach the workshop on site, IT Training & Education may also charge for travel, site preparation, and adapting workshop materials.

To schedule a special request workshop, complete the appropriate web form.

For more, see IT Training & Education. You can also contact IT Training & Education staff.
