At IUPUI, why do I get a JavaScript error when submitting a multimedia equipment request through the Instructional Equipment Reservation System?
The Instructional
Equipment Reservation System (IERS) requires certain
JavaScript functions, such as
Date.getFullYear(), in order to be compliant with year
2000 updates. If you receive a JavaScript error when trying to submit
a multimedia equipment request, your web browser does not
include these date functions. You will need to upgrade your browser
to use the IERS.
The IERS has been tested successfully with Netscape Navigator and Netscape Communicator 4.03 and higher, as well as Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 and higher. For information on how to upgrade your current web browser, see the Knowledge Base documents What is Netscape, and where can I get it? and What is Microsoft Internet Explorer, and where can I get it? For instructions on how to enable JavaScript in your web browser, see the Knowledge Base document In Internet Explorer, how do I turn Java or JavaScript off or on?
