ARCHIVED: Why is Outlook Express 5 for Mac OS downloading attachments to my computer without my permission?

Note: Outlook Express is not available for Mac OS X; use Entourage instead.

According to Microsoft, Outlook Express 5 has a security vulnerability, which may cause attachments in messages that are written in HTML to be downloaded and decoded on your computer. To solve this problem, update Outlook Express to the latest version. You can get the latest version from Microsoft's Mactopia site.
