At IUPUI, how can I get my web page linked from the IUPUI home page?

To get your department's home page linked from the IUPUI home page, email your request to the IUPUI Web Team at  extaff@iupui.edu .

To get your IUPUI student organization web page linked from the IUPUI home page:

  1. Register with the Office of Campus Interrelations: Student organizations must be registered with the Office of Campus Interrelations to be eligible for web accounts. Contact the Office of Campus Interrelations by phone at 317-274-3931.

  2. Request an account: Registered student organizations may request accounts on the university web server www.iupui.edu (Webserve). To request a Network ID and Webserve web account for your student organization, complete the UserID/Sponsored Account Request Form (faculty and staff only).

  3. Create and publish your web site: For help creating your web site, see At IU, where can I get help creating a web page?

  4. Request a link from the IUPUI web site: When you've created your web site and published it on www.iupui.edu, email  extaff@iupui.edu  requesting a link. Include the URL for your site, as well as suggestions about where your organization should be linked.

When you request a link, your site is reviewed to make sure it contains appropriate content. Your pages cannot have commercial advertising of non-university goods or services, and must clearly display an IUPUI affiliation. You can also add an IUPUI logo if you have an official IUPUI page. For more on creating IUPUI web sites, see the IUPUI Communications and Marketing logo page.

For more about web publishing policies at IU, see the University Information Policy Office web site.
