ARCHIVED: On the Shakespeare or Jewel systems at IU, how do I view the system policies?

To view the system policies for the Shakespeare or Jewel systems at Indiana University, log into your Iago, Kate, Lear, Ariel, Jade, or Pearl account. After you have logged in, follow these steps:

1. In Pine, from the Main Menu, press  !  (the exclamation point) to exit to the Unix shell.
   
   
2. At the prompt, enter: cd /usr/local/info/policies/
3. To get a listing of the policy documents in this directory, enter: ls
4. To view any of these files, enter: more filename Replace filename with the name of a policy document (e.g., quota, tmp_usage).
