ARCHIVED: At IU, in Outlook 2002 or 2003, how do I download a folder from my Cyrus mail account for offline viewing?

If you have not already done so, you need to set up Outlook 2002 or 2003 to read your Cyrus email. For more information, see At IU, in Outlook, how do I read my Cyrus or Exchange email using IMAP?

To download all of the items in a folder on your Cyrus mail account at Indiana University:

1. In Outlook 2002 or 2003, from the Tools menu, choose Options... .
   
   
2. Click the Mail Setup tab and then click Send/receive.
   
   
3. In the "Group Name" section, select All Accounts and click Edit.
   
   
4. In the "Accounts" section, select the email account that contains the folder you want to download for offline viewing.
   
   
5. In the "Check folders from the selected account to include in send/receive" section (Outlook 2003) or "Check folders for send and receive" section (Outlook 2002), select each folder you want to download.
   
   
6. To the right (Outlook 2003) or under "Options for folder [foldername]:" (Outlook 2002), choose Download complete item including attachments.
   
   
7. Once you have made your selections, click OK.
