What are archived documents?

Login is for authorized groups (e.g., UITS, OVPIT, and TCC) that need access to specialized Knowledge Base documents. Otherwise, simply use the Knowledge Base without logging in.


ARCHIVED: After I request a CFS account, how long will I have to wait before I can use it?

Note: UITS has retired CFS. A new file storage service for researchers became available in a public test phase in fall 2005; for more information, see The Research File System (RFS) at Indiana University Also, the AFS cell is being decommissioned. It will be replaced by the OpenAFS cell IU.EDU.

If everything goes well with your account request, you should be able to start using your CFS file space 15 minutes after requesting it. If you have any problems with your account request, please contact the appropriate campus Support Center.
