What is XMeeting?

XMeeting is an open source H.323 videoconferencing client for Mac OS X. For more, including download links, see the XMeeting site.

For instructions on how to set up XMeeting, see XMeeting Setup at IU (in PDF format).

Note: Indiana University does not provide videoconferencing directory services for the XMeeting client. Although it is possible to use XMeeting to participate in point-to-point and multipoint calls at IU successfully, use it at your own risk.

To reserve a videoconferencing system or schedule a videoconference, see the Scheduling Videoconferences page. Typically, you will use Microsoft Outlook to reserve a video conference room. For help, see the instructions for Outlook 2007, Outlook 2003 and earlier, or OWA.

For help with Indiana University streaming and videoconferencing services, call 812-856-2020 or email Video Conferencing Support. For more, see Digital Media Network Services.
