At IU, when logging into the FIS, why do I get the error "The local policy of this system does not allow you to logon interactively"?

If you get this error when logging into the Financial Information System (FIS) at Indiana University, you have not been added to the global group of users who have access to the terminal servers. To request access, send email to  fmsysman@indiana.edu .
