As an IU student, can I have my disabled accounts re-enabled?
If you are an Indiana University student who stopped taking classes for two or more consecutive terms, your accounts may have been disabled. If your accounts are disabled but not yet deleted, the accounts will be re-enabled once the registrar term-activates you. Registrar data is processed continuously during Student Information System (SIS) online hours; see About the Student Center in OneStart. Once the Account Management Service (AMS) receives confirmation from SIS that you are active and eligible for accounts, your accounts will be re-enabled automatically.
If your accounts were deleted, you will need to recreate them using AMS. See How do I get my first computing accounts at IU?
If you have additional questions or need assistance with your accounts, contact your campus Support Center.
