In Windows, what can I do if Adobe Acrobat PDF files won't print correctly?

If you are having trouble printing PDF files from Windows, check first that you are using the latest drivers for your printer. Next, try using the PostScript drivers for your printer if you aren't already using them.

You may also want to try the drivers Adobe provides. To download these drivers, visit Adobe's web site at: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/ You will need to download two files: the PPD (PostScript Printer Driver) file for your brand of printer, and the Adobe Universal PostScript Window Driver for your language version of Windows.

Once you have downloaded the files, double-click the PPD file to extract its contents, making note of the destination folder. Then, run the Adobe Universal PostScript Window Driver Installer. You can find step-by-step instructions on the download page for the Adobe Universal PostScript Window Driver.
