In Windows XP, how do I reinstall TCP/IP?
To reinstall TCP/IP in Windows XP, you must run the Netshell utility from a command line. Follow the steps below:
- From the
Startmenu, selectRun....
- In the "Open:" field, type
cmd, and then clickOK.
- At the command prompt, enter: netsh int ip reset reset.txt
