What software is available through the Adobe agreement, and how can I get it?

Acquiring the software

Software covered by the IU/Adobe Education Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) is available to Indiana University students, faculty, and staff at no cost from IUware.

Students, faculty, and staff can also purchase Adobe software on DVD from campus bookstores and the IU Bloomington Information Commons. You can purchase Adobe Creative Suite (CS) Design Premium or Production Premium for $20 per DVD (plus tax). You can also purchase Adobe Acrobat for Windows and Mac OS X, as well as the Adobe Acrobat Suite and many other Adobe titles for $10 (plus tax).

To install Adobe products, you will need a license key/serial number. To obtain this number, log into IUware and click an Adobe product for download. Next to "Your Serial Number/Key", click Get Key, and your key/serial number (a long string of characters) will appear in that space. It will remain available for you to copy and paste when prompted during your installation of that particular product. Also, be aware that you will again be prompted to authenticate after you click to download the software.

Note: Indiana University students, faculty, staff, and emeriti can install Adobe software downloaded from IUware on up to two personally-owned computers. Significant hardware changes to your computer can cause problems with activation; see Activation and deactivation.

Software available through the agreement

Note: IU students, faculty, staff, and emeriti may use the products covered by the Adobe Enterprise License Agreement while affiliated with Indiana University. Upon leaving IU, the license is no longer valid, and you must uninstall all software you obtained at no cost, and also destroy any physical media. UITS encourages you to then purchase licensed software before leaving the university so as to benefit from the academic discount.
