Using Microsoft Excel, how do I make a chart using one set of data as the X-axis?

Suppose you have the following data in Microsoft Excel:

  A B
1 Year Value
2 1999 100
3 2000 150
4 2001 200
5 2002 250
6 2003 300
7 2004 250
8 2005 100
9 2006 150
10 2007 200

Column A is Year, and column B is Value. Suppose you want to make a chart with Year on the X-axis and Value on the Y-axis. Follow the steps below for your version of Excel to make a chart based on these data.
