From off campus, why am I unable to access some IU services?
Due to security issues, UITS has temporarily blocked access from outside the Indiana University network to some IU services. To access the following services, you must be connected on campus, via the IU modem pool, or via an IU VPN connection:
- Exchange email accounts (See At IU, using an outside ISP, why can't I connect to my Exchange account with Outlook or BlackBerry Desktop Manager?)
- The whois service and IU's ph server

- Some IU Library resources (See Using the databases available through the IUB Libraries, why can't I access some of the resources?)
