At IU, what is the AMS Starter Kit?
The Starter Kit, part of the Account Management Service (AMS), is the tool you use to create your first computing accounts at Indiana University. The Starter Kit creates your Network ID and ADS Domain account, and also gives you the option of creating an email account. Once you have your Network ID, you can then use the AMS to create more accounts.
Note: If you are a new faculty or staff member, under normal circumstances you will not be able to create accounts until the morning after your employment record is entered into the university's human resources data system.
