In the IUIE, what is an Information Provider, and how do I become one?

In the IUIE, an Information Provider is familiar with a particular department's data, can create new report objects for the department, and can test and modify existing report objects.

To become an Information Provider, you must be a member of the technical development team for an application area (e.g., FMS or HRMS) or a Data Manager. If you are not, you must obtain permission from the technical lead and the Data Manager (or Data Steward) responsible for the set of data against which you wish to test.

Once you have approval, the IUIE team will provide access to the publishing tools used by Information Providers.
