In IU Webmail, how do I choose a folder for storing sent mail?
In IU Webmail, you can choose a folder for storing copies of messages you've sent:
- Log into Webmail.
- From the header bar at the top of the screen, click
Options.
- Under "General Options", click
Personal Information.
- Under "Select the identity you want to change:", use the drop-down
list to select the identity you wish to modify. Unless you have
created another identity, Webmail uses the default identity that was
automatically created when you created your email account; you should
choose to edit this identity now.
- Under "Sent mail folder:", use the drop-down list to choose the folder
to use for storing sent mail.
If you select
Use Default Value, Webmail will use "sent-mail". To create a new sent mail folder instead, selectCreate a new sent mail folder. In the dialog box that appears, type a name for the folder, and then clickOK. - When you're finished, click
Save Options.
