At IUPUI, using Windows Vista, XP, or 2000, how do I use wireless printing in the University Library?

At IUPUI, in the University Library, to use wireless printing in Windows Vista, XP, or 2000:

  1. Establish a wireless connection to the IU Secure network.

  2. In Windows Vista, click the Start button. In the "Start Search" field, type \\in-ulib-baker . Press Enter, and then skip to step 4.

    In Windows XP and 2000, from the Start menu, select Run... .

  3. In the "Open:" field, type \\in-ulib-baker , and then press Enter.

    Note: If \\in-ulib-baker  does not work, try \\in-ulib-baker.ads.iu.edu .

  4. At the username and password prompt, enter the following, replacing username with your username: ads\username

    Note: You must type ads\ before your username to log in.

  5. Enter your password.

  6. Double-click the printer listed in the cluster you are sitting near. When you choose the desired printer, you will be prompted to install it; click OK.
