To manually add a printer in the IUPUI University Library using Windows:
- Establish a wireless connection to the IU Secure network.
- In Windows 8, from the Start screen (or Metro Desktop), type
run
. Click the icon, and then go to step 3.In Windows 7 or Vista, click the
button. In the "Start Search" field, type\\in-ulib-stang
. PressEnter
, and then skip to step 4. - In the "Open:" field, type
\\in-ulib-stang
, and then pressEnter
.Note: If
\\in-ulib-stang
does not work, try\\in-ulib-stang.ads.iu.edu
. - At the username and password prompt, enter the following,
replacing
username
with your username:ads\username
Note: You must type
ads\
before your username to log in. - Enter your password.
- From the window that appears, double-click the icon. When you are prompted to install it, click .
