In IU Webmail, why can I send but not receive mail?

If you can send email in IU Webmail (Cyrus), but cannot receive email sent to you, one of the following may be the cause:

Email forwarding

You may have chosen to have your email delivered to an external address, such as a yahoo.com or hotmail.com address. To find out if your email is being forwarded, and to what address, see At IU, how can I tell if my mail is forwarded? You can set your email forwarding both in IU Webmail and in the Account Management Service (AMS). To change your email forwarding in Webmail, see At IU, how do I forward my email? To use AMS, see At IU, how do I register my preferred email address?

Email delivery to a Microsoft Exchange account

If you have an Exchange account, email sent to you by another Exchange user will usually be delivered directly to your Exchange account, bypassing the Webmail system. (The exception is when the sender specifies the fully qualified domain name for another account.)

You can access your Exchange account using Outlook Web App (OWA) at:

https://www.exchange.iu.edu/

If you can log in at this URL, you have an Exchange account, and you may have unread email messages there.

You can also forward your Exchange email to the account you use most often; for more, see In Microsoft Outlook for Windows, or in Outlook Web App (OWA), how do I automatically forward all of my IU email to another address? To use AMS to set your preferred email address at IU, see At IU, how do I register my preferred email address?

This is document amzy in domain all.
