In the Oncourse Original Test and Survey tool, why did Internet Explorer crash when I tried to add a question or edit an existing one?

Because Internet Explorer has a maximum URL length of 2,083 characters, it may hang or crash while you're trying to add a new question or edit an existing one with the Original Test and Survey tool. This problem is more likely to occur near the end of a semester, due to the way the Original Test and Survey tool handles the ordering of question numbers.

To avoid this problem, switch to Firefox 2.0 (or later). Firefox is available from Mozilla and IUware.
