For UMS, how can my name play before the voice mail greeting?

To enable the option to have your name played before the greeting of your voice mail in Unified Messaging Service (UMS):

  1. Visit: https://umsweb.iu.edu/

    Log in using your Network ID.

  2. From the Options menu, select Telephone Interface.

  3. To have your name played when callers reach your mailbox, check Play my mailbox name and status when callers reach my Voicemail; if you want only the greeting to play, uncheck the box.

  4. Click OK.
