In Internet Explorer for Windows, how do I enable or disable Sun Java?

If you have installed Sun Java on your Windows system and wish to enable or disable it in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:

1. In Internet Explorer, from the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
   
   
2. Click the Advanced tab.
   
   
3. Scroll down to the Java (Sun) category. Enable or disable Sun Java by clicking to either select or clear the Use Sun Java 2 checkbox. Some versions will say "Use JRE" instead of "Use Sun Java".
   
   
4. You will need to restart Internet Explorer for the change to take effect.
