At IU, do DHCP MAC address registrations expire?

For reasons of security and accountability, many areas on the Indiana University Bloomington and IUPUI campuses require that your computer's MAC address be registered before it's allowed full network access.

UITS expires registrations on the residential and Greek subnets once each year before the start of fall semester move-in.
