What is the IU Digital Library Program?

The Indiana University Digital Library Program is dedicated to the production, maintenance, delivery, and preservation of a wide range of high-quality networked resources for scholars and students at IU and elsewhere. The Digital Library Program is a collaborative effort of the IU Libraries, UITS, and the university research faculty, with leadership from the School of Library and Information Science and School of Informatics and Computing.

In addition to hosting a wide variety of online reference tools and text, image, audio, and video collections, the Digital Library Program offers various services for digital collections and digital library development to IU librarians, faculty, and staff, and to external organizations and institutions partnering with the university on digital library projects. These services include project planning, technical support, digitization, collection hosting, and support for metadata, interface design, and usability.
