ARCHIVED: At IU, what is UITS Research Analytics?

The mission of Research Analytics is to enable the Indiana University community to easily and effectively perform statistical analyses and advanced mathematical procedures, and to promote the informed use of geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing. Research Analytics is responsible for centrally delivered statistical, mathematical, and GIS software on systems ranging from the Student Technology Centers (STCs) to large shared systems. Responsibilities include licenses, systems administration, and technical support for a broad spectrum of users, platforms, and operating systems.
