What is EReserves/ERes?
The Indiana University Bloomington Libraries maintains EReserves, or ERes, for online access to course readings. Using the Docutek ERes online document management system, EReserves provides course readings on the web for the following campuses:
EReserves is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You may access the documents from any computer with an Internet connection or from any workstation at your campus library. IU restricts these materials to current IU students by way of individual course passwords, which are different from your Network ID passphrase. Your instructor will provide you with your course's password. If you have difficulty, see What should I do if I am having problems accessing course materials through EReserves?
Notes:
- You need Adobe Reader software on your computer to view and print documents. If you are affiliated with IU, you can download this software free from IUware. It is also available free from Adobe's Reader web site.
- Be sure that cookies are enabled in your browser; see In Internet Explorer, how do I view and control cookies?, Using Firefox, how do I view and control cookies?, or In Safari for Mac OS X, how do I view and control cookies?
