In the IUIE, how can I request an account?

To request an Indiana University Information Environment (IUIE) account, you must have a valid IU Network ID. To request an account:

  1. Visit the IUIE registration page.

  2. You will be redirected to a CAS login page. Log in with your IU Network ID.

Note: At this point, if you have no "Acceptable Use Agreement - Access to Technology and Information Resources - Employees" on file, you will be directed to it and will need to read and complete the form before proceeding.

  3. Once verification of the "Acceptable Use Agreement - Access to Technology and Information Resources - Employees" has been validated, the resulting IUIE Registration page fields will automatically be populated with your current user information.

Note: If an IUIE account already exists for you, a message will display in red indicating that you are already registered with an account. If you see this message, do not submit a new account request.

  4. Supply any missing information, if necessary, and click Register.
