What is QuikPAY, and as a student or authorized payer, how do I use it to pay my bursar bill?

QuikPAY is a web-based payment method for Indiana University students to pay their bursar account bills electronically. In addition to making payments, students can view and print statement histories, see current account balances, and print receipts. They can also authorize other individuals (such as parents or guardians) to view a bursar bill, and to pay all or part of the balance due.

To view tutorials about these and related topics, see Student Self-Service Information.

On this page:

About payment options

Each campus sets its own policy for accepted forms of payment. All campuses accept e-checks; at IUPUI, you can also pay with standard checks, cash, or credit cards.

Note: Due to transaction fees charged to the university, payments made with MasterCard, Discover, and American Express on student bursar accounts at IUPUI (Indianapolis) will be assessed a 2.7% convenience fee by the third-party vendor. The 2.7% rate is subject to change. Because of limitations imposed by Visa, IUPUI can no longer accept Visa as a payment method for student bursar accounts.

In addition, IUPUI has a Pay-4 payment plan to assist with payment options for students and their families.

For more, see Credit card convenience fee and the tutorials linked above.

Accessing QuikPAY

Students

Log into OneStart. The Student Self-Service section should be visible; if it is not, select the Services tab, and then choose the Student Self-Service section on the left.

Note: The Student Center and other Self-Service applications use pop-up pages and subpages. If your Internet pop-up blocker is set to block all pop-ups, you'll need to turn it off or change the setting to allow them; refer to your browser help for instructions. For further assistance, contact your local Support Center.

Under either "Services & Information" or "Student Information Snapshot", click View/Pay Bursar Bill and follow the instructions. If you like, you can set up access for your parents or others to pay your bills; see Authorizing someone to make online payments on your IU bursar bill.
