Where can I find information about US Supreme Court cases?

Many resources provide information about US Supreme Court cases:

  • The Lexis-Nexis Academic database is available on the web for Indiana University students, faculty, and staff. From the Lexis-Nexis search page, follow the Legal Research link.

  • The Supreme Court's web site houses many relevant documents.

  • At IU Bloomington, the Government Information, Microforms & Statistical Services (GIMSS) department provides access to paper documents dating back to 1936. GIMSS is located on the second floor of the Herman B Wells Library. For more information, visit the GIMSS web site.

  • The IU School of Law Library at Bloomington provides many resources, including documents from before 1936. For more information, see the Law Library web site.
