How do I get started using CPSrf in my course?

Any Indiana University instructor can contact eInstruction's local representatives from CIM Audio Visual to request a Classroom Performance System rf (CPSrf) receiver, the CPS software, and a demo response pad. If you are an instructor, contact Melissa Daniels at  melissad@cimav.com  or 800-742-5036, and provide the following information:

  • IU campus
  • Department
  • Course name (e.g., SU07 BL PHYS P202 3847)
  • Total number of students
  • Total number of sections
  • Class start date (mm/dd/yyyy)
  • Instructor name
  • Instructor email address
  • A shipping address acceptable to UPS (i.e., an actual street address, not just building and room number or post office box)
  • Office phone number, including area code
  • The software version needed (Windows or Macintosh)
  • If you need additional materials for TAs or AIs, please note this as well.

The test kits will ship in 10 business days from Denton, Texas.

You will receive an email message with a setup code and a PDF quick reference guide. You will also receive the CPSrf receiver, CPS software, and one demo response pad.

You can download the most recent version of the Classroom Performance System (CPS) software from the eInstruction web site at:

http://www.einstruction.com/

To see the download types, click Support & Downloads.

Be sure to order the appropriate number of CPSrf response pads and activation codes (necessary for registering a response pad) for your class from the IU Bookstore page. You will need the following ISBNs to place your order:

1881483717 (response pad) 1881483045 (activation code)
